Annual Tractor Oil Change

Changed the oil on 1/8/2008. New Purolator oil filter was used, #L14670. This replaces the Motorcraft FL-200 filter which is now numbered as the FL-300. Just for reference the New Holland oil filter # is 86546618. Tractor hours are 871 and the number 871 was painted on the oil filter. I also made a calendar entry to change the oil in 1 year, or earlier if 100 hours of service is reached first. Oil was Shell Rotella 15W40. Lastly, the new right front tire was installed about a month ago and has not been used. The tire was filled with run flat foam and purchased at Guy's Tire Shop in Grantsville, MD , phone 301.895.5126.

New lawn/garden tractor

On Sunday Jan 6th, we took an older Sears riding mower and the Yard Man riding mower back to Jim's Repair Service, Roger Puffinberger, Sr Phone, 540.888.3997. We traded both of these mowers in and purchased a Sears 22 HP garden tractor for $450. The model # is 917.273090 ans the Serial # is 092800A008695. I had to order a chute for the mower deck from Jack's Small Engines. Total cost for the order was $36.45

2003 Dodge Ram Oil Change

The oil was changed and a new oil filter installed on 12/30/07. The mileage was 83590. The fron U joints and tie rod ends were also greased. Lucas Oil Treatment was also used. A Google calendar event was logged in with a reminder at 6 months for the next oil change.
